The cape drops seventy metres into the sea, covered in heather and gorse that flowers yellow in May. Seabirds nest in the cliffs; binoculars are more use than a camera.
The coastal path reaches Fort la Latte in an hour's walk, easy but exposed. The fort is open to visitors, and on a clear day the view from the keep reaches as far as Bréhat.
