The Rance tidal barrage
The closest walk to the studio: ten minutes on foot along the orchard path is all it takes to reach the Rance.

You can cross the barrage on foot or by bike, with the estuary on one side and the bay on the other. The tidal power station, opened in 1966, still produces electricity for half the département.
The customs officers' path starts in La Richardais and follows the Rance to the Minihic slipway: a two-hour round trip with no climbs, shaded by pines for half the way.

- The path is fine for pushchairs as far as the first cove; after that it turns to dirt.
- The footbridge closes in strong winds — check the signs at the entrance.
